Other Fundraisers

In addition to the large annual fundraisers, the Dailard PTF partners with community businesses that share a percentage of their proceeds with the school. These “passive” fundraising events help the students and community engage in support of the school, and establish valuable relationships.

If you would like to help oversee one or more events, or help plan them, please contact the committee member in charge of the event. Contact information can be found on the Programs Committee page.

Shop at Fresh & Easy
Kristen Lesser (klesser@cox.net)
Between now and December 31, 2011, shop at Fresh & Easy stores and turn in your receipts of $20 or more to the front office. Dailard receives $1 for every $20 you spend. On Thursday, November 10, 2011 from 4 to 8 PM, the Navajo Road Fresh & Easy shares with Dailard 5% of all purchases made at that location. The school received almost $2,000 from Fresh & Easy in 2010.

eScrip
Cameron Bresnick (cameronbresnick@yahoo.com)
Register any one or all of your existing grocery loyalty, debit, and credit cards for use in the eScrip program. Participating merchants will make contributions to your chosen group, based on purchases made by you, just by using the cards you have registered. Or, shop at the eScrip online mall by clicking on the image below.

eScrip purchases are tracked and available to you online, allowing you to see just how much you are earning on your child’s behalf! Dailard earned more than $600 from eScrip participation during the 2010–2011 school year.

Target—Take Charge of Education
Apply for a Target REDcard and select Dailard as your school of choice. Enroll your REDcard at Target’s website and Target will donate 1% of your REDcard purchases to Dailard. Another perk of using your Target REDcard is an automatic 5% discount on your entire purchase.

Box Tops for Education
Rebecca Hetter (sdhetter@sbcglobal.net)
Collect box tops from specially marked food and paper products (found at ordinary grocery stores) and bring them to school. Dailard earns 10 cents for each box top it redeems. Box Tops for Education brought in more than $1,000 during the 2010–2011 school year.

Labels for Education
Rebecca Hetter (sdhetter@sbcglobal.net)
Collect bar codes and beverage caps from qualifying products and return them to Dailard. The school earns points for every item, and can redeem those points for educational supplies.

Shop at Office Depot
Office Depot credits 5% of purchases (with some exceptions) to Dailard when you present the school ID #70013844 at purchase. If you find yourself at the store without the number handy, don’t worry—the cashier may be able to look it up for you.
