Congratulations to the Dailard gardening community! Dailard received a grant to pilot a garden education program with its students during the school day for the 2024-25 school year. To support these efforts, we are looking for a part-time garden educator to bring the wonders of gardening into the classrooms.
The Dailard Garden Welcomes You!
Meetings are every other Wednesday, 12:15 to 1:20pm. Free and open to all families! Show up and see what we’re about! (Children must attend with a parent/supervising adult.) Join our Dailard Garden Club Facebook Group for the most up-to-date information about activities and the schedule.
2024-2025 Meeting Dates
Purpose of Our Club
We are a club committed to educating our kids about where food comes from, and why “nearby nature” is so awesome! Working with plants is a skill that benefits kids for a lifetime and can lead to positive habits such as healthy eating, nature appreciation, creativity, and more. We also aim to build community among Dailard families.
Who is Eligible and How Does My Kid Join?
Any Dailard student who wants to get their hands a little dirty and enjoy some time outdoors is welcome to participate, at no cost. Parent chaperones are required during club meetings. To be notified of club-related activities and resources, please join our Facebook Group (Dailard Garden Club), or email this year’s Garden Coordinator at garden@dailard.org.
We Love Volunteers!
Since this is a parent-driven program, we need volunteers like you to help with teaching, maintaining the garden, finding or creating activities, grant writing, etc. All experience levels, interests and skills are welcome – we can create a role for you.
